Will Arsenal lose it’s Sol?
It seems that the time has come around for Arsenal centre-back, the veteran Sol Campbell to start playing with other kids. The 35-year-old has not only admitted to talks with Celtic, but has claimed to be considering his options. This is just after it was revealed that the Emirates club had offered him a twelve month extension to his current contract.
So will he leave? He has told the Scottish Sun that it is “a serious possibility”, but maybe he is just bidding his time to see if he will be given a better offer, as he has also stated that his personal preference is that remain with Arsenal next season. But as we all know Arsenal has some sorting out to do with Fabregas in an effort to keep him from Barcelona’s clutches.
Like a gentleman, Campbell has stated that he will wait his turn to “thrash out” something with the Emirates club. So all we can really do now is sit and wait…
